Mosselen op zijn Oostends)
De kaaswinkel van Pie/Gust Kees was op nr. 6, Pierre Lafon was nr. 18.

Het kuisen van mosselen was een arbeidsintensief karwei, het kostte immers heel wat moeite om ze zandvrij te maken en de 'pokken' van de schelpen te krijgen.. Gereed gekuiste mosselen kopen was dus een comfortabele nieuwigheid!


Het smalle huisje 'De Smet', later frituur Eduard, rechts van de kaaswinkel van Pie Kees.


De naoorlogse Molendries, met de lichtreclames 'Frituur' en 'Mosselen' en het windbord van Frituur Eduard
